Dr. Stephen J. Miller

Dr. Stephen J Miller is a board certified orthopaedic hand surgeon specializing in treatment of the hand and upper extremity.  Dr. Miller earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Florida.  He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.  Following residency, Dr. Miller completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.  During this year, he worked with the New York Jets and New York Rangers professional sports teams.  Dr. Miller went on to complete a second fellowship at the Oklahoma Hand Surgery Fellowship program in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he specialized in surgery of the hand and upper extremity.

 

Dr. Miller is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand.  His professional memberships include The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, The American Society for Surgery of the Hand, The American Association for Hand Surgery, The Peripheral Nerve Society and The Florida Orthopaedic Society.

 

Dr. Miller was born and raised in Miami, Florida.  He moved back to Miami following his years of training to establish his practice and life in Miami.  He has been in private practice since 1998.  He is married with three children. He enjoys fishing, playing guitar and spending time with his family.
